The Truth About Migraine Relief

Even with medical treatment you may still find yourself banging your head against the wall from persistent Migraine attacks. Many people suffering Migraine find themselves turning to corresponding or "alternative" treatments out of frustration when they are having limited success with prescription drugs and other approved medical treatments.

After a million migraine treatments, this kid had had too early on the subjection to the worst of physical ailments: the kind of pain you cannot meditate away with your thoughts or do mind-control exercises or experiments with to stop your head from thinking about pain…as the pain is IN the tool you use to think away or re-think.

Lately, in the sixties and seventies one of the advanced migraine treatments was the use of biofeedback, physically reducing or eliminating the pain by focusing on changing the alpha/beta wave patterns by warming the hands and rubbing the feet and etc. If you suffer these abominations that your blood leaves the extremities during migraine, you will notice at onset your hands and feet are cold. So warming by rubbing does a couple of things: it returns blood flow, and it changes your brain wave patterns/activity so the focus is not so all-consuming.

And here is the experienced I share when I had gone from terrible headaches for some time, yet I haven't find any sort of migraine relief. I know that there are several things that will provide a sort of partial migraine headache relief such as I can sit in a dark room, trying to lie totally still and silent, and the throbbing will lessen somewhat, but even still, it can take hours and hours to go away. I have been almost entirely failed in finding that kind of migraine relief that I've searched.

It is hard for you to get the importance of searching for good migraine relief compared to us who do have them, if you have never been had a migraine headache. A migraine will start as a small blurry dot in the center of your vision. It then slowly expands outward, farther and farther, until it comes to totally fill your whole field of vision and that is the pain start. It was the most terrible pain that you can not imagine that can split your head apart. You feel dizzy and nauseous, and any source of light and sound is totally unbearable. In that kind of moment, I almost sell my soul to get some migraine relief. The pain is so bad that migraine relief is the only important thing in the whole world for a good long time.

Even though I've tried all of the migraine medications available, but there are still some migraines relief options which I have yet to try. I have met chiropractors who say that they can treat migraines by simply manipulating the spine and the surrounding muscles, but let us say that I am still a bit skeptical. I mean, if migraine relief were indeed so easy to do, wouldn't everyone be using those methods instead of drugs which only work for some people, and take a lot of time to just kick in? I can not see why there would be any kind of migraine relief period if it were possible to get rid of these terrible headaches with no pills, no pain, and zero inconvenience? Who would not go to a chiropractor if they could really avoid them from having a migraine? I guess it would be worth trying to get migraine relief that way, but I doubt that it will work.

After a kid was suggested to those groovier versions of chemical migraine treatments (Equigesic, sub-lingual pills, Caffergot, Darvoset, and more); to allergy identification migraine treatments (trying to find the offending food or smell source and eliminating it); and to those migraine education sessions in the family doctor's office that helped only to the degree that they justified and consoled with pamphlets on the history of migraines and famous migraine sufferers or the medical explanation that a normal blood flow runs through the fingers of veins, axons, dendrites at a regulated pace, but abnormally pools and bunches in one area thereby creating the traffic jam throbbing as blood attempts to flow into an area only capable of taking half that amount.

The frustrating reality is that migraines are not fully understood and migraine treatments are just those…treatments that get you high enough to forget but that do not cure or eliminate. Often several kinds of medication need to be tried and perhaps combined before the most effective treatment for each individual patient can be found. Lifestyle and dietary advice are always important.
